Individualized & Culturally Responsive Speech Therapy

Our bilingual speech-language pathologists are passionate about providing individualized and culturally-responsive evaluations and treatment to all individuals.

Our Approach

As a team of Latina bilingual speech-language pathologists, we are passionate about providing individualized and culturally responsive services to every client who enters our clinic. We define cultural responsiveness as the ability to provide services that are equitable and truly reflective of a person’s unique cultural and linguistic background. Our clinicians are specifically trained to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring accurate and informed decisions regarding the assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders.

Our team has extensive training in using a combination of standardized and non-standardized assessments to differentiate between language differences and disorders in bilingual clients. Our clinicians bring specialized experience in assessing and treating a wide range of unique speech and language needs, including fluency disorders such as stuttering and cluttering, as well as voice disorders and Gender-Affirming Voice Training (GAVT). Additionally, we are highly skilled in addressing reading disorders like dyslexia and facilitating the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to ensure every client has the tools they need to communicate effectively.

We work closely with each individual client to ensure they receive holistic, actionable recommendations following a speech screening, evaluation, or therapy session. Our goal is to empower our clients through communication that honors their identity and lived experience.
